VINEYARD DETAILS
The soils are low yielding, gravelly and stony, planted on sun facing slopes, offering good drainage and exposed to extreme climactic changes that go from bitterly cold winters to scorchingly hot summers. This helps to generate freshness, structure and concentration in the wines.
TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby red colour.
Fruity bouquet of figs, red and black berry fruit (cassis, plums and cherries) with subtle hints of coconut, cinnamon, cocoa and vanilla from the barrel ageing.
The mouthfeel is rich and elegant, well structured, with good balance between fruit and oak. Velvety smooth with sweet tannins and a long, lingering finish that will satisfy any palate.
An ideal wine for all kinds of meats, stews, game, poultry, and cured hams and cheeses.
Best served between 16 and 18º C.
