VINEYARD DETAILS
The soils are low yielding, gravelly and stony, planted on sun facing slopes, offering good drainage and exposed to extreme climactic changes that go from bitterly cold winters to scorchingly hot summers. This helps to generate freshness, structure and concentration in the wines.
TASTING NOTES
Bright and intense dark cherry colour.
Fruity bouquet of figs, red and black berry fruit (cassis, plums and cherries) with subtle hints of coconut and vanilla from the oak.
Soft, round tannins and a long, lingering finish.
Ideal with all types of meats, grilled, roasted or stewed. Also with poultry and cured hams and cheeses.
Best served between 16 and 18º C.
